Perfect for families needing a quick stop
We scored two rooms for the price of one due to a remodeling crisis which was pretty awesome. The carvery? Absolutely delicious and for a steal, it was like they were practically giving it away!
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still within a reasonable range.

Well priced and tidy hotel, lovely views of the gardens at the back. Central heating, TV set, and tea and coffee making equipment available in the classic room. Spacious bathroom with a tub; courteous and very welcoming staff.

Lovely bed - huge double which was brilliant. Breakfast was very genrous with the most elaborate fruit plate i've ever seen - really enjoyed our stay.
Crows in the trees next to it were a bit loud, but i suppose they were nesting!

Location was excellent. Staff very friendly and the rooms; quality and comfort were more than adequate for the price. The breakfast (full cooked with cereal and loads of different types of fruit) was lovely in the morning and the staff were very attentive to our needs (2 adults and 1 baby) I would happily stay again.
The walls were a little paper thin, a wedding was being held in the conference room. - No noise from that even though a loud band was playing the room itself was still quiet. Its when other drunken guests come back and do 'adult things' in the room next to you, that woke us and our little boy up a few times. Not the hotels fault at all, just think about how busy the hotel might be before booking. Also the heating knob to adjust temperature had broken leaving the room very very hot.

Hotel was chosen because of proximity to railway station. Budget hotel which was clean but rather tired.
Shower didn't work.

The room was clean and tidy with good facilities. It was very handy for the town shops, rail and bus services. The airport was within walking distance, but there was an hourly bus service from the front door of the hotel. The manager of the hotel was very helpful.
The Bar area was in need of refurbishment and had a rather bleak out outlook across a supermarket car park.

Hotel was clean and friendly but decoration is in need of an upgrade. The room was of a good size and comfortable and represented good value for money. Breakfast was good.
Improvement of decoration in public areas and in rooms

The Hotel was in a good central location in the town. Friendly and helpful staff and excellent Price considering remoteness of town.
No Big screeen TV in Bar.
